Sure it would be easy to dress up for Halloween as something you do other days of the year. If you play a sport, in an organization, a student, or have a job then do not where that outfit. Also, do not let someone else dress as you.
Participating on a team will seem simple to just wear your uniform or let someone else. If you play a sport do not where your uniform. Many teams have rules agents wearing the uniform for other activities. Many times your team owns the uniform. You will get upset if you get the uniform dirty, a hole in it, etc. Do you really want to go to coach and say "I need a new uniform." Say you are a cheerleader and you where your uniform to a Halloween party and you spill a drink on your uniform or you tear it on a decoration, etc. Since it is your uniform you will be careful but if you lend it out they will not be. Being careful will not be fun it will be distracting.
If you are a student why would you want to wear your uniform not at school. You also will not what to lend your school uniform out because they may not be the same size as you. Wearing you uniform is not fun everyday it will not be on Halloween.
Don't wear your work outfits it just dose not work for Halloween. If you wear your work outfit it becomes to real to be a costume. Your wearing your job outfit is well not pretending to be something you are not.
Pretending to be something you are not is part of the costume, part of the fun. Wearing something that could get ruined will not let you enjoy Halloween. Wearing something you dread wearing everyday is not fun. Halloween is to be fun.
